Look, I promised I’d write another blog post within the year. It’s November (not anymore I’m still writing this in December) but it’s still 2019. I’ve scrapped at least six posts and will NOT dwell on the past. It’s gonna be this, because it’s digestible for me. Writing is slap dash as always, you get what you pay for (this is FREE!!!!). I got back into Inazuma this year after a decade since I first got into it and I have a lot to say.

I didn’t watch much in 2018, if at all. And what I did watch I wanted to write about, but plans fell through without fail. I’m not really sure why this is the way it panned out last year, but one of my New Years Resolutions was to watch more anime this year and tackle some of my massive backlog. I thought it’d be a good idea to talk about some of the stuff I did watch. This is super self indulgent and messy, no proofreading or eloquence! Let’s have fun with this.

Instead of writing my literature review, I’ve decided to write my thoughts on Genshiken episode 9 for now. I don’t know what spurred me to do this, I guess it just made me feel a lot of things? I went in thinking, oh, anime about otaku, this’ll be mildly relatable, a little unfunny, the characters are probably gonna be creepy as fuck. We all watch SOL, we all have those “ah, that happened to me once!” moments.
I was pretty wrong.
